im asian and im 8th grade in junior high

does anyone have any suggestions that would work?

It's hard for us to say cause we don't know what you look like!Look through magazines and pick some choices that you like, choose a good salon, then ask the stylist if those looks will be good for your face shape.

i have been a hair dresser for 15 years and asian hair is such a pita. it is straight so straight that when you get it cut the wrong way you can see every line in your hair. but let me make a suggestion to you since you are only in the 8th grade not to drastic. a simple hair cut will be fine try some highlights i assume your hair is black or dark brown right? well a light brown or caramel high light will look fantastic on asian hair. i have done it before to my older asian clients but beware who cuts your hair you need to ask them if they have ever cut asian hair before . you don't want to see steps in the back of your hair.
