Hairstyling?

so i'm korean

and ii want a completely asian hairstyle. [:

hahah.

so what i'm thinking is to get the top super layered like guy hair - ASIAN guy hair -

and then leave the bottom layer long as it is.

my hair's almost like this right now

but the top layer is a bit long.

since it's time for a haircut

ii thought i'd go all out

so my main question is:

1. do you think it would look good ?

2. do you NEED wax to style the top part ?

if so, how long does it usually take ?

so this question is mainly geared towards asian guys.
