I recently dined at a chinese restaruant and ordered the Buddha's Feast...Basically lots of mixed veggies. However, there were three ingredients that were in it that I have never seen before.
1.) A stringy clump of what looked like long (thinner than angel hair) dark brown worms. The waitress said they call them "hairs" and did know what they were exactly...I am guessing a type of seaweed or mushroom??
2.) Looked like large pieces of a chopped cabbage...More yellow in color and very spongy in texture and almost seemed like it should not be edible.
3.) Looked like a very dark colored deflated balloon, maybe seaweed or a mushroom?
Thanks for your ideas in advance!
