Is it normal for a thirteen-year-old girl to have a faint moustache?

If you look closely at my face, you can see small, thin moustache hairs (I'm Asian, so said hairs are black), and in pictures and at arms-length, my upper-lip is darker than the rest of my face, like I'm developing one. Is it normal? Will it go away?

(If you have any advice, please don't say to wax, shave, use Nair, have a laser, or pluck.)

baby girl,i have a mustache,my 9 year old daughter have one also, very noticeable by the way.we are not asians but is really dark hair, you can say black.it is normal to us ,we are extremely hairy, but for you,if it is not genetical,it could be hormonal.check with your phisician, because it does not go away on its own.dont worry about small things okay? blessings!

Hey Babydoll,

So many other people have mustaches too. All girls get mustaches and have them it is just a matter of whether you can see it or not. So if you want it to disappear so badly try waxing it. Its normal sweetheart, don't worry about it.

Yes it's normal and unfortunately the more your hormones change, the darker the hair might be. It probably will not go away, some women have them, some women don't. You've taken away any option for me to give you advice by limiting the choices or removal. So I guess if you don't want to remove it you just have to learn to love your mustache.

Laser is the best honey. Honestly.
