The secret lies in their diet.

Asian beauty secrets?

Healthy diet and lots of housework, (well, maybe not too much). Go out and enjoy the sun and breeze for at least 30 minutes. Also, here are some beauty tips.

Some traditional Asian women (usually before marraige) apply egg formulas on their face to tighten pores and brighten the face. So use this recipe for an egg facial only on special occasions. Also, only use a little at a time, just incase of a sensitive-skin reaction to it.

Rosewater Egg Facial:

1 egg

1 tblspoon honey

3 tblspoons rosewater*

*make rosewater by steeping rose petals in water for 20 min.

Mix all the ingredients together. Apply a thin layer on skin and leave on for 15 mins. Rinse off with warm water.

For your hair, you can use this solution (makes your hair silky and shiny):

Steep some herbs of your choice (eg. rosemary, sage) in water, in a glass bowl overnight.

Remove herbs and add 1/2 cup of vinegar.

Store in fridge (bottled), for upto a week.

To use, pour over your hair after washing with normal shampoo.

An oil massage (coconut oil) in your hair isn't a bad idea either, because this helps thicken your hair.
