Um, first of all, let me provide a description of how I look (just because there are some jobs that require you to look a certain way or to be a certain weight or etc):

I'm 5'1, Asian, black hair, and approximately 110ish pounds.

Personality:

I'm talkative, optimistic, enjoy trying new things, am outgoing, and sadly, a bit stubborn.

I enjoy acting, singing, watching movies, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, badminton, etc.

I would like to be an actress some day, but people say that being Asian is going to prove to be a bad thing for me, especially if I try to make it in the states. I would like to be a flight attendant, but i hear there's a height limit?

Oh, and I'm 15, I know that there's a lot of time left for me, but these days, it's all I can do to stop worrying about my future.

I want a job that I can make a lot of money from, and not something that takes up all of my time.

How about teaching drama? My son's high school had drama classes and they put on plays and had lots of fun. So did their teacher. May also consider teaching at a school of the arts. May also consider cruise ships. Lots of job possibilties involving people and they often offer shows. And you get to travel! What's important is that you enjoy your job. It's not always the money. It's good that you are looking into your future now.

My granddaughter has black hair, white skin, and green eyes. She is beautiful, but for someone who is naturally blond, it might be to harsh. I would advise you to try on wigs to get the full effect. The possibility of being disappointed and having to damage your hair to change it or a long process of growing it out.

I'd have to go with no. Most natural blondes have complexions that are just too light for black hair. I think if you did it you would end up looking gothic. If that's the look you're going for, w/e, but if it's not I wouldn't do it. You have to consider too that black hair isn't just a color you "try on". It's a commitment. When done with a permanent dye it is the single most difficult color to remove from hair, as any haircolorist will tell you. Don't do it.

I don't want to here I'm racist either because I'm a quarter black. But I don't think they did. If you look at Africa you can find several different races of blacks some that resemble Asians with epicanthic eye folds. Or if you look at someone like Kobe Bryant he shares a lot of features with Europeans. Or even someone like Mick Jagger more closely resembles a congoid in facial structure than some South or West Africans. They should broaden the race definitions on tests and applications. You can count like 10 or more races based on physical apperance alone before you even start considering mixed races like some Arabs with kinky hair, Tibetians(Asian/Native Aussie), Filipinos, Puerto Ricans, American Blacks, etc. Some asians may be closer genetically to some South Africans than some American Blacks which is funny because a black dude rooting for Nelson Mandela and Korean Dude could be closer to him genetically.

That accounts for the differences in appearance as there were small mutations in human DNA along the way. To really understand it (better than I can explain it) watch National Geographic's "The Journey of Man" - the brilliant movie about the scientists tracing the DNA of all men and women on earth from their common ancestors in Africa.

I am not a geneticist but you do have a point. The Australian Aboriginals were thought to have migrated from Africa many thousands of years ago when the land bridge was still there before the Ice Age ended and the rising water caused by the melting ice cut them off. Hey Samara,

It is best when you sunbathe, since the long exposure to heat is what bleaches the hair. Only problem is, it is acidic and it can damage the hair and the scalp. It happened to me. I had to use dandruf shampoo and extra conditioner to make my hair back to normal. Also, the hair becomes really sticky.

Personally, I don't think matt hair 'oily' is that big a deal, it probably looks ok. But if you like the highlights, have you tried henna or bluelights looks cool on dark hair.

PS. Almost forgot, Lush makes a lemon hair soap which is milder but does change the color. If you wanna less acidic way.

i would reccomend using SunIn it basically does the same thing to ur hair that lemon does only you spray it on and it is alot less messy, it also gets ur hiar alot lighter too, you can buy it at about any drug store for like $4.00

I have a different sort of look, i wear glasses i'm fairly thin, have auburn hair and asian eyes (due to my father being half french have south korean and my mother being portuguese and german). i know alot about politics and law and am facinated by all of it...but when i meet guys they seem to be intimidated by my opinions or the fact that i know up from down in today's politics. I think that most guys really do appreciate an intelligent girl, though they don't like to admit it. Having a dumb girl as a girlfriend may be exciting (as in the girl will most likely not have an opinion about anything), but that will wear off real quick. Only thing I'd suggest is tone down the more intimidating things, it's fine to oppose the war, or the fur trade but don't declare your hatred for peanuts with fiery vengeance :-) It's fun to argue in my experience, you get a feeling for a person ,what matters to them, and it's rather sexy to see them get passionate about something.
